Are you a Maineianc ?

This film will address the shocking reality that 94% of Maine's coastline is privately owned, making it subject to access restrictions that can prevent or restrict the use of tidal areas, water and waves. But it's also about the larger global question of what should be a bought-and-sold commodity, versus what belongs to all of us.

Ben's film is of importance not only to surfers, but also to anyone that believes certain resources belong in the public trust. Drinking water, fishing rights, river passage and more are among the resources that are under continual pressure of privatization. And though there are many good arguments for privatizing some things, the waves just aren't among them.

Help Ben make it happen at King Charles' Coast - Whose beach is it anyway?
