I've been working every day lately, its just that time of year. Its all pretty boring stuff and makes for a kind of lame blog but its happening so your going to have to deal with it just like I am. My kid doesn't give a fuck !

As a parent your always trying to capture that one amazing picture that sums up how perfect your child is... You know so you can show everybody else who doesn't care anyway. You say stuff like "Oh this one? I just snapped it, isn't he cute?" ( in reality you blasted out about fifty seven pictures in less than thirty seconds ) and of course your kid could give a shit that your trying to be the next Annie Leibovitz. Well here are some of the other ones, that now in hind sight have turned out to be the real gems.

BUMMER WAVE : STEVE JOBS DIES

I'm not one of those totally crazy Mac people but I will say I was pretty bummed on computers until I got an Apple. PC's just never seemed to live up to my expectations. Macs were the first computers to take great technology and make it useful for everyday life. Even now PC owners have Apple to thank for their good computers, cause Apple pushed the market in that direction. I know Steve Jobs didn't build Apple by himself and I'm sure they will continue to produce awesome handy computers but its just not going to be the same. Thanks Steve for making my life just a little bit better. -SPK

THE NEW STICK : FLEX PIG

I ordered a flex pig from Gene a few months ago and it showed up just in time to get the last day of swell from Katia, its so rad! Its surfs a lot different than any other board I own. Its round bottom forces you to pay attention you can't be sloppy on this thing. There is no drive off the tail its just a pivot so you have to make well planned turns, but getting on the nose is like stepping on the gas pedal, as you step up the board flexes and flattens out and off you go! Super fun! This is the only pic you get if you want to see the rest of it you'll have to catch me in the water. I stuffed it in to a rock the first day, so at least I got that first ding over with. Surf it like you stole it!
